- Reforestation Program – Tree Planting Initiative for Membertou
- Community Employment & Trainee Programs – Ensuring great jobs for community members and education-matching trainee programs

Standing Up for Mental Health & Addictions
Membertou’s own Mental Health & Addictions Department.
A strong community is a healthy one. With a lack of resources in our region, I am committed to creating Membertou’s own Mental Health & Addictions Department. This will include re-purposing the former Band Office and Wellness Home buildings to accessible mental health and addiction services. We’re investing in key professionals and support to reach those in our community who are most in need.

Ensuring generational wealth for our people.
Membertou works in a cooperative model; the more commercial revenue we generate, the more we’re able to invest into our community. Over the next 4 years, the following economic priorities will ensure generational wealth building for our people:
- Seventh Exchange: Continue building our retail district – next up, Starbucks!
- Managing our investment in the commercial fishery with Clearwater Seafoods - revenue coming back to our community annually to support community development (housing, education, youth & elders, recreation)
- Securing our Place in Green Energy: Ensuring Membertou is a leader in the transition to clean energy in Nova Scotia and the world
- Continued growth of our commercial businesses with new employment opportunities for Membertou
